I'm Back!

May 02, 2016 • 176 Comments

Wow! It feels so good to be back behind my camera. After 5 months of bedrest and several months of adjusting to being a mommy of two as well as moving, my photography hiatus has officially come to an end. Mind you, I have been taking pictures, but my primary subject has been the newest addition to our family, Pumpkin 2. Now that I am doing this "mommy thing" the second time around, I'm realizing that each moment really is precious and that I will miss eventually each stage so I am soaking it all up. I've been enjoying capturing she and her big brother bonding, talking and smiling at each other.

Recently I was able to take 4 month portraits and I had a little help from my assistant-photographer-in-training, Pumpkin 1. I wanted to share them with you as the kick-off for the fall portrait season. Blessings!
